SORRY THIS REVIEW TOOK SO LONG WAS WAITING TO GO TO RANGE AND TEST MOSSBERG 590 12 GAUGE SO TODAY I SHOT OVER 100 ROUNDS OF 12 GAUGE RIFLE SLUGS AND THE SITE WORK GREAT DID NOT SHIFT AT ALL AND I DID NOT USE LOCKTITE ON BARREL AND IT DID LINE UP WITH MY REAR LPA PICATINNY MOUNTED GHOST RING SITE THE STAFF WERE GREAT WITH ALL THE QUESTION I HAD.....THANKS TO ALL STAFF SEE PHOTO

Purchased the front and rear sight set for my Mossberg 500. I was on the fence about getting this vs. an optic. The main reason is reliability. Mossberg shotguns have legendary reliability and I wanted sights to match. In my book, the less electronics the better.

I was able to zero this fairly easily and it holds zero. No small feat for a shotgun given the heavy abuse they can take due to the recoil.

I would definitely purchase this again.

One piece of advice if you're going to mount this yourself, especially the rear sight: Be sure you have the correct flat blade screwdriver made for firearms. You may find a random screwdriver that may fit, but unless it's made for firearms, it's pretty easy to strip out the very tight Mossberg screws.

This fit my Mossberg 590 A1 perfectly and lined up with the factory front sight.

The front sight was a great addition to my shotgun increasing shooting accuracy! It is highly recommended!

Holes in rear sight did not line up with pre drilled holes in receiver of 870. I expected to have to drill and tap holes anyway so it worked out well.

This was what I needed to match a ghost ring sight that was high off the bore centerline. Easy installation, had some shims I didn't need also.

This is a quality product and if you follow the simple and concise instructions, mounting is easy and solid. I mounted this on a 20” barrel I cut for a Browning Auto 5 “humpback” and it looks great, stays on with the barrel recoil
and brings the line of sight down to the correct position.
